Nannelli Riders Academy

Our Philosophy

Preparation,

awareness,

safety, fun,

respect

These are the cornerstones on which the Nannelli Riders Academy was founded, offering young people a fun and educational activity that allows them to learn to ride a moped without losing sight of the fun.

The courses offered by the Academy are intended to be a truly enriching experience for young people, enabling them to develop improved analytical skills, greater responsiveness in dangerous situations, and greater confidence with their two-wheeled vehicles. This will allow them to ride them safely, whether on the road or on the track, depending on their abilities. This includes maintaining a sense of sporting integrity and respecting the rules.

The Nannelli Riders Academy also champions one of today’s most sensitive issues: the environment. For this reason, five electric mini-bikes are available, allowing children to participate in activities in complete safety while limiting polluting emissions.

Our history and philosophy

Nannelli Academy

The Nannelli Riders Academy was founded in 2012 following Gianluca Nannelli’s retirement from racing. The Florentine rider, eager to continue his career while remaining involved in motorsports, recognized a gap in the Italian motorcycling scene, and decided to focus his attention on younger riders.

Through the study and creation of a program specifically designed for all boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 12, the school’s goal is to allow youngsters to gain confidence and awareness on two-wheeled vehicles.

Until the Nannelli Riders Academy was founded, there was no organization in the area dedicated to teaching safe riding, with programs designed by FMI technicians that allowed all young people, driven by passion or simple curiosity, to try their hand at the world of two-wheeled riding.

The Academy therefore aims to provide a guarantee and safety for all parents who will one day see their children on the road or on the track.

This innovative idea has also been embraced by the Italian Motorcycling Federation, which has approved the project, commissioning the Nannelli Riders Academy, together with the “Scuola Federale Velocità,” to carry out the “Scuola Iniziamento Mini Velocità” project.
